Smiling and shaking hands. UN Secretary-General met with the Prime Minister of the RF.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres met with the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-29) conference, which is taking place from November 11 to 22 in Baku.
During the meeting, Mishustin complained to the Secretary-General about the 'illegal' visa restrictions imposed by the US that hinder Russia's participation in the work of the UN General Assembly.
'Mikhail Mishustin expressed concern over the illegal visa restrictions imposed by the US that prevent Russian representatives from participating in the work of the UN General Assembly. It was emphasized the necessity of taking measures to ensure compliance with international agreements on the status of the UN headquarters,' the Russian government reported following the meeting.

At the meeting, the UN Secretary-General once again shook hands with a representative of a terrorist state. Just a month ago at the BRICS summit in Kazan, an outrageous moment was captured by journalists' cameras: UN Secretary-General António Guterres not only shook hands with dictator Vladimir Putin but also leaned towards him in greeting.
At that Time, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky also reacted to the visit of the UN Secretary-General to Kazan.
'Today, on United Nations Day, it is important that the world does not forget the goals and principles of the UN Charter and the purpose of creating this organization. Even if some of its officials prefer temptations in Kazan over the substance of the UN Charter, our world is constructed in such a way that the rights of nations and norms of international law matter and will matter,' said the President.
By the way, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis stated that if UN Secretary-General António Guterres decides to resign, Lithuania 'will not dissuade him from this.' The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania also noted that Guterres is no longer perceived as an honest broker.
