Expert Pekar: Putin is preparing the collapse of Europe without tanks - what does he really need?.

According to ТСН: Russian President Putin needs the collapse of European countries, and for this, Ukraine does not need to send its troops.

This opinion was expressed by Valeriy Pekar, a lecturer at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.

He emphasized that Europe can be attacked without the use of ground forces.

“Putin does not need territory in Europe, he does not need a single piece of it. He needs its collapse as a political unit and political unity.”

According to Pekar, such a “hybrid attack” could begin with massive missile and drone strikes, as well as cyberattacks on energy systems and logistics. Drones can be disguised as Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles.

“For example, the same Polish energy system does not have the resilience to strikes as the Ukrainian one - the country can be plunged into darkness for weeks. Add to that cyberattacks, hundreds of diversions, electronic warfare from ships in the Baltic, and an artificial refugee crisis at the border with Belarus. The Polish government will not withstand such an attack. Imagine 10 million Poles fleeing to Germany. Germany will also not withstand such a number of refugees.”

Pekar also warned that in the event of destabilization in Europe, support for Ukraine may cease, as there is currently no American assistance.

Earlier, General Ben Hodges mentioned the only condition under which Putin could stop the war and explained why the US peace plan will not work.

This situation indicates possible new challenges for Europe that may affect the geopolitical situation in the region. Valeriy Pekar emphasizes the importance of preparedness for various threats that may arise in conditions of instability.
