Fires in California: the blaze has already destroyed the mansions of Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal, Anna Faris, Hunter Biden, and Anthony Hopkins.
Wildfires in California hit Hollywood celebrities
As a result of the large-scale wildfires in Southern California, many Hollywood celebrities have been left without their beloved pets. The Independent State Fire Administration in the USA reported that the fires, which started on January 7, 2025, led to the evacuation of over 130,000 people.
Serious damage has occurred in the quite elite neighborhood of Pacific Palisades, where the average property value reaches 4.5 million dollars. As a result of the fires, the mansions of Billy Crystal, who had lived there since 1979, and Paris Hilton, whose Malibu property was worth 8.4 million dollars, were completely destroyed. Also, the homes of fire victims include Anna Faris, Eugene Levy, and Anthony Hopkins. Hunter Biden's house also burned down.
Among the evacuated celebrities are Lady Gaga, Will Smith, and Mandy Moore, who left her home along with her children and pets. Actor Mark Hamill managed to escape just as the flames approached his road. The residences of Rihanna, Adam Sandler, Bradley Cooper, and Jennifer Aniston are at risk.
The fires, fueled by winds of up to 160 km/h, have already destroyed thousands of buildings. The blaze has claimed about 7,500 firefighters. There are five main fire hotspots in the region: Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, Lydia, and Sunset. The largest fire, Palisades, has destroyed over 17 thousand acres of land. Total damages are estimated between 52-57 billion dollars.
