CES 2026: AI Feeder Recognizes Every Cat in the House with 99.9% Accuracy

According to Korrespondent.net: Cheerble, a company specializing in smart gadgets for pets, unveiled its innovative automatic feeder Pet Feeder Match G1 at CES 2026 in Las Vegas. This device is considered the world's first with local AI, capable of determining with 99.9% accuracy which specific cat approached the bowl.

Individual Diets for Cats

The automatic feeder is designed for homes with multiple cats, where feeding can turn into real chaos: some cats may eat for others, mixing up special diets. Match G1 supports up to six cats and allows setting individual rations and feeding schedules without the use of collars or isolation of the animals.

Innovative Technologies

The feeder uses an infrared camera that instantly identifies the cat approaching the bowl. If it’s the 'right' cat, access to food is granted, and if not – a protective dome blocks access. At Cheerble, this system is compared to modern 'face control' for animals.

Data Protection and Comfort for Animals

All data processing occurs on the device, without transmission to the cloud. The feeder lacks a microphone, so the biometric data of the cats remain secure. Algorithms are trained to recognize animals even when their external features change over time.

The design also considers the physiology of cats: the bowl has special angles that reduce 'whisker fatigue,' which can cause stress. The bowl is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe. An additional cooling element under the food helps keep it fresh.

Management via Mobile App

Owners can adjust feeding of the cats through the Cheerble mobile app, switching between individual and open access modes. The system also tracks the animals' eating habits, allowing changes in their diet to be noticed in time.

Pre-orders for the Pet Feeder Match G1 are planned for the second quarter of 2026 at a recommended price of $259.

A rare wild cat has been recorded in Thailand for the first time in 30 years.

The automatic feeder from Cheerble offers an interesting solution for multi-cat homes, where dietary needs can cause issues. The innovative technology and conveniences built into this device could significantly simplify life for owners and improve the well-being of their pets. As the sales launch date approaches, interest is expected from pet enthusiasts and researchers of their behavior.
