Premier League: Shakhtar lost in the match against Oleksandriya.

Oleksandriya defeated Shakhtar in a home match of the 4th round of the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) of the 2024/25 season. The match at the Nika stadium ended with a score of 4:3.

The match began with two goals from the Donetsk team. In the 16th minute, home defender Artem Shabanov scored an own goal, and in the 25th minute, Dmytro Kryskiv distinguished himself for the Miners.

However, before the break, Ruslan Rotan's team managed to come back. In the 37th minute, Oleksandr Filippov reduced the gap, and four minutes later, Ivan Kalyuzhny equalized the match.

At the start of the second half, the Oleksandriya team shocked the reigning Ukrainian champion with two more goals. In the 48th minute, Filippov converted a penalty, and then in the 57th minute, he scored again from open play, completing a hat-trick.

Marino Pusic's team could only respond in stoppage time – Pedrinho scored in the 90+5th minute. But this was not enough to avoid defeat.

It should be noted that this summer there were rumors that the 21-year-old midfielder Georgiy Sudakov has attracted the interest of several reputable European football clubs, including London Arsenal – one of the leaders of English football.

According to ESPN insider Ekrem Konur, Italian giants Juventus and Napoli continue to show interest in the Ukrainian. Both clubs were main contenders for Sudakov's transfer last winter.
