Border guards named 7 reasons for refusing women to leave Ukraine.
Ukrainian women can freely cross the state border, even in a state of war. However, there are several legal reasons why the border guard service may refuse exit from the country.
One of the main reasons is the lack of a valid foreign passport. The restrictions also apply to women who are under the supervision of law enforcement agencies or have access to state secrets. In this case, exit is prohibited until the restrictions are lifted.
Individuals with legal issues will also face serious restrictions. Suspects in criminal cases, if preventive measures have been applied to them, as well as those convicted of criminal offenses, cannot leave the country.
Women who are heads of legal entities, with a tax debt exceeding 1 million UAH and unpaid for 240 days after receiving a tax demand, are banned from leaving until the debt is fully settled.
'Stop control'
Mothers have separate restrictions. Women with administrative penalties for improper performance of parental duties cannot leave with a child for a year. However, this restriction can be circumvented with a notarized consent of the other parent.
Leaving is also prohibited for individuals who have alimony debts exceeding payments for four months.
We remind you that the new rules for crossing the border by car will make Ukrainians wait.
