23 Settlements at Risk: Forced Child Evacuation Underway in Dnipropetrovsk Region.
Authorities Launch Mandatory Evacuation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
According to Espreso.tv: In response to escalating security threats, regional officials have initiated a compulsory evacuation of families with children from 23 localities in the Synelnykove district. The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, led by Chief Hanzha, aims to relocate nearly 3,800 children within a month. According to official reports, all families with children have already departed from Novokyivka, Illinka, and Vyshchetarasivka.
Concurrently, authorities are continuing the evacuation of adults from one street in the city of Marhanets and roughly 100 residents of Nikopol. To date, over 49,500 people have left the Synelnykove area, while nearly 750 have evacuated from the Nikopol district. This forced evacuation was triggered by a Russian attack on June 14 that struck Kharkiv, Dnipro, the Zaporizhzhia district, and Putyvl in Sumy region.
Evacuation as a Critical Safety Measure
The mandatory evacuation in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast underscores the severity of the situation and the direct threat to civilian safety amid ongoing hostilities. Local authorities are prioritizing the protection of children and other vulnerable groups, working to move them to safer areas as quickly as possible. This campaign is part of a broader emergency response strategy to address security challenges arising from the armed conflict in Ukraine.
