Privat24 Adds eSIM Sales Feature
According to Novyny.live: Users of the Privat24 app can now sign up for mobile services from Kyivstar, Vodafone, and lifecell. This new feature allows customers to activate a digital SIM card directly through the mobile application, streamlining the process of connecting to a mobile network. This move is part of a broader digitalization trend in Ukrainian financial and telecom services.
Pricing for eSIMs from Major Carriers
Subscribers of Ukraine's three leading mobile operators can purchase a digital SIM (eSIM). lifecell offers a starter "eSIM Bonus" package for 150 hryvnias, while a standard eSIM from this operator costs 50 hryvnias. Vodafone has priced its eSIM at 100 hryvnias. Kyivstar subscribers, in contrast, can activate an eSIM free of charge, making this option particularly attractive for users.
The rollout of eSIMs via Privat24 highlights the increasing integration of digital technology into the daily lives of Ukrainians, simplifying access to essential services.
This development could also intensify competition among the operators, as the ease of connection and pricing may become key deciding factors for customers choosing a mobile provider.
Overall, this new functionality in the Privat24 app opens up fresh possibilities for mobile users in Ukraine, enabling them to conveniently and quickly activate necessary services without leaving home.
