PrivatBank's Updated Fee Schedule Takes Effect in June 2023

According to Novyny.live: Starting in June 2023, PrivatBank has raised charges on several services, notably increasing fees for cash withdrawals and balance SMS notifications. The adjustments apply to both standard rates and special conditions for certain customer groups.

As of June 2023, the fee for withdrawing cash from other banks' ATMs has gone up from 1% to 1.5%. However, customers with pension cards can still withdraw money without fees at any ATM within Ukraine. The monthly cost for SMS balance alerts has also increased, rising from 10 hryvnias to 15 hryvnias. Additionally, the fee for issuing a new card has doubled, from 50 hryvnias to 100 hryvnias.

New Perks for Customers

Young clients, particularly those aged 18, can now earn up to 3,000 hryvnias in cashback on money transfers. The monthly limit for currency sales at PrivatBank stands at 50,000 hryvnias. According to bank representatives, the fee revision is driven by rising infrastructure maintenance costs, the upgrade of digital services, and enhanced protection of client data.

These tariff changes may affect customers' financial expenses, making it crucial to stay informed about the updated service terms at PrivatBank.

PrivatBank's fee adjustments can be seen as a response to increasing costs in the banking sector, particularly due to technology upgrades and the need to ensure data security for clients.

Customers should assess how the new fees impact their financial planning and consider possible alternatives if the updated service conditions no longer meet their needs.
