PrivatBank responded on how to accept cashless payments during power outages.
Ukrainian bank PrivatBank has introduced a new service that allows businesses to easily accept cashless payments even during power outages. This service turns a regular smartphone into a full-fledged payment terminal.
To use this service, entrepreneurs need a smartphone with NFC functionality running on iOS or Android operating systems and an internet connection.
To connect to the system, it is necessary to download a special application 'Terminal' and go through a short registration procedure.
The 'Terminal' application for Android and iOS is based on Visa Tap to Phone technology. This technology allows accepting cashless payments through a smartphone without the need for additional equipment such as POS terminals or card readers.
An important aspect of this new solution is its integration with the fiscalization feature through the software registration of payment transactions 'Cash Register', which allows processing both cash and cashless transactions.
To support businesses during difficult times, PrivatBank is launching a special promotion for new users, under which all transactions through the 'Terminal' application will be conducted without fees until the end of 2024.
We remind you that a new payment system for suburban buses has been introduced in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
