According to lawyer Yuriy Ayvazyan, in order to extend the deferral, a conscripted citizen must undertake certain actions. He must submit copies of the documents that were used when applying for the deferral to the territorial recruitment center. However, if the deferral has already expired, it needs to be reapplied for.
The lawyer received an inquiry from a citizen who was interested in whether it was necessary to submit documents again for the extension of the deferral that expired in 2023, or if it is extended automatically.
