The Waze app has launched a long-awaited feature for drivers.
The popular app for drivers, Waze, has added a new voice control feature that uses artificial intelligence. Now drivers can report road situations by pressing a button, without touching the screen. The system automatically updates the map and can clarify details through follow-up questions.
This new feature makes driving safer, as drivers can report issues without being distracted by the screen. The collected data helps other users have a more accurate picture of the road situation in real time.
However, the rise of artificial intelligence poses serious challenges for Waze in terms of user privacy protection. Effective operation of this technology in the modern transportation system requires close interaction between Waze, transportation companies, and local authorities.
Despite the challenges, Waze's new technologies pave the way for the development of smart cities. Partnerships with government and private organizations will allow the use of collected data to combat traffic jams and improve the environmental situation in cities.
Let us remind you that starting from January 1, a key rule for drivers in Ukraine will change.
