The 'Contract 18-24' program opens up for all brigades: what does it mean.
The 'Contract 18-24' program has become available for all combat units
According to inkorr.com: The Office of the President reports that the 'Contract 18-24' program is now open to all combat units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. This means that young people aged 18 to 25 can choose any brigade to serve within this program, without being limited to a specific list of units.
Deputy Head of the Office of the President Pavlo Palisa noted that the program has undergone several stages of expansion. Initially, only certain brigades were involved, but eventually, the decision was made to include all combat units.
'Now anyone who wants to defend Ukraine at this age can choose any brigade. And all brigades will be able to attract motivated youth,' emphasized Palisa.
The choice of unit for service has become more flexible
Thus, young people who enter into a contract under the 'Contract 18-24' program have the opportunity to independently choose the unit where they will serve in the military.
Ukrainian combat units are actively inviting young volunteers to join the defense of the country, offering them the opportunity to choose a specific unit for service. This contributes to attracting more motivated young people who are ready to defend their homeland.
