"Putin does not betray himself": Zelensky reacted to Russia's massive attack on Ukraine.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the morning massive attack by Russia.
He reported this in his Telegram channel.
Currently, work is underway throughout the country to eliminate the consequences of the Russian strike.
Zelensky emphasized that this was one of the biggest strikes carried out by Russia. The enemy launched over a hundred missiles of various types and about the same number of 'shaheeds'.
This strike, like many previous Russian strikes, targeted critical public infrastructure. It covered most of our regions - from Kharkiv and Kyiv to Odesa and western regions. Unfortunately, there are casualties. I express my condolences to the families and friends. Dozens of people were wounded and are receiving necessary assistance.
Significant damage also occurred in the energy sector. The President noted that repair works have already begun where electricity supply has been cut off. Teams will work around the clock to restore power.
Zelensky also stated that Ukraine needs permission to respond to Russia.
Putin is a sick creature, this is clear to everyone. But it is equally obvious that he can only do what the world allows him to do. Weakness in response only supports terror. Every leader, every partner of ours knows what decisions are needed to stop this war fairly. We cannot have limitations in distance when terrorists do not have them. We cannot have limitations in weapons when Russia uses all types of weapons, including 'shaheeds' and missiles from North Korea. America, Britain, France, and other partners have enough strength to help us stop terror. Decisions are needed.
It should be noted that the occupiers launched 'shaheeds' at night, and in the morning missiles were launched (dozens of Kinzhal missiles). It is known that the enemy used various types of armaments: drones, cruise missiles, 'Kinzhal' missiles. Explosions are heard in Kyiv, Lutsk, Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Rivne, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Dnipro, and other regions.
