Putin Informed Trump About Drone Attack on His Residence: What It Means for Negotiations

According to ТСН: The Kremlin reported that during today's phone call, Putin informed Trump about an alleged drone attack on his residence, which they believe could influence the position regarding the peace agreement.

Putin's and Ushakov's Reactions

Putin noted that he still strives to cooperate with the US on the peace agreement, but this attack has made him reconsider his views. This was reported by Yuri Ushakov, the advisor to the President of the Russian Federation on foreign policy, as reported by Russian media.

Ushakov claims that Russia's position will be adjusted 'on a number of previously reached agreements with the US and solutions in negotiations regarding Ukraine.'

Trump's Words

The assistant to the President of the Russian Federation also noted that Trump allegedly expressed surprise at 'such crazy actions' as the drone attack on Putin's residence. He added that the US administration, 'thank God,' did not send 'Tomahawks' to Ukraine.

Ushakov reported that Trump believes that the 'drone attack' on Putin's residence will affect American approaches in cooperation with Zelensky.

However, there is currently no confirmation whether these words actually belong to Trump, or if Ushakov possibly made them up.

Putin's Cynical Assurances

At the same time, Putin stated in his conversation with Trump that Russia intends to 'work fruitfully with the US to find peace.'

Accusations from Russia

Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov accused Ukraine of allegedly attacking drones on Putin's residence in the Novgorod region, specifically the so-called 'bunker' in Valdai.

Lavrov also warned that due to this Russia will 'reconsider its negotiating position.'

Comments from Ukraine

The National Security and Defense Council noted that the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation is just masking the intention to continue strikes 'as attacks on Putin's residence.'

President Zelensky emphasized that such statements from Russia are actually aimed at undermining all the achievements of joint work with Trump.

It is noteworthy that international negotiations regarding Ukraine remain complicated. Actions and statements from both sides highlight how tension and concerns can affect diplomatic efforts. Time will show whether a common language can be found and a way out of the situation can be found.
