The Verkhovna Rada approved the law on Ukraine's accession to the Roam like at Home policy.

The Verkhovna Rada adopted a law that brings Ukraine closer to negotiations with the European Union regarding the inclusion of the country in the Roam like at Home (RLAH) initiative. According to this law, Ukrainians will have the opportunity to use their operator's tariffs in 27 EU countries without additional charges for mobile communication and internet, even after the state of martial law ends. This law is the final step towards starting negotiations for joining the Roam like at Home policy.

According to the Vice Prime Minister for Innovations and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, this decision will allow Ukrainian and European operators to better coordinate their work and exchange services. After joining the single roaming zone, Ukrainians will be able to use their tariffs in the EU without additional costs, even after the state of martial law ends.

After the law is signed by the President of Ukraine, it will be sent to the European Commission for assessment. If the assessment is positive, official negotiations will begin regarding the acquisition of the EU internal market regime for roaming, which will legally formalize Ukraine's participation in RLAH.

Ukraine continues to implement European systems, moving closer to EU membership. At the last government meeting, a decision was made that will become part of the roaming 'visa-free' regime with the European Union.
