Ram Rampage launches in the European market: what the new compact pickup offers.
According to Korrespondent.net: The American automotive company Ram is expanding its presence in the European market by introducing the new Rampage model - a compact pickup specially designed for narrow European roads, reports Carscoops. This vehicle, manufactured in Brazil, combines maneuverability and power, fitting into the gap between compact SUVs and mid-size pickups.
Features of Rampage
Rampage is the first Ram vehicle designed and manufactured in Brazil. It is based on the Small Wide platform, also used for Fiat Toro, Jeep Compass, Jeep Commander, Alfa Romeo Tonale, and Dodge Hornet models. For the European market, the model will be available in two versions - Rebel and R/T.

Compared to the larger Ram 1500 and Heavy Duty, which have limited demand in Europe due to their size, Rampage has a length of 5028 mm, making it much more convenient for everyday use.
Technical Characteristics
The Rebel model is equipped with a 2.2-liter Multijet turbo diesel engine with a power output of 197 hp and a torque of 450 Nm. The sporty R/T version features a Hurricane 2.0 gasoline turbo engine that develops 268 hp and 400 Nm. Both options come with a 9-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.
Among the advantages of the vehicle are full LED optics, a multimedia system with a 12.3-inch display, a 10.3-inch digital instrument panel, a Harman Kardon audio system with 10 speakers, six USB ports, and driver assistance systems. The cargo compartment has a capacity of 980 liters and can carry up to 1015 kg in the diesel version.
Recall that it was previously reported that the flagship crossover of the Chinese company BYD has entered the global market.
