The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Georgiy Tikhiy, reported intentions to conduct the next round of negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. He emphasized that Ukraine is ready for negotiations anywhere, while Russia has some issues with choosing venues. “We are ready, let it be the Vatican, let it be Switzerland, let it be other venues. We have no problems with venues. It's Russia that has some problems with venues, with timing, with memorandums,” he stressed.
Tikhiy also emphasized that this process will be a test for Russia, where it is important to determine whether Russia plans to continue the war or wishes to achieve peace. The President of Ukraine also expressed hope for signing a ceasefire memorandum from Russia.
