Russia redirects troops from Sumy to Donbas: what is known about the occupiers' plans.
The Russian Federation is redirecting troops from the Sumy direction in the corresponding direction. These are not reserves, but the very forces that participated in combat operations there, being redirected to the Pokrovsky and Novopavlivsky fronts, possibly also to the Zaporizhzhia front to support the activity of hostilities.
Russian troops are once again demonstrating activity in eastern Ukraine. According to the latest data, their forces that participated in the combat operations in Sumy region are now redirected to the Pokrovsky and Novopavlivsky fronts, and possibly to Zaporizhzhia as well. Furthermore, it has been noted that for the Russian enemy, Donetsk region remains a priority zone.
According to reports, 1327 civilians remain in Pokrovsk, for whom there is currently no opportunity for evacuation. Against the backdrop of these events, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine will not leave Donbas, demonstrating determination in defending its territory.
It is noted that the redirection of Russian troops may have significant consequences for the situation in eastern Ukraine and will require the attention of the world community.
