Macron's Statement

French President Emmanuel Macron expressed his desire to see a strong and sustainable peace that respects international law and ensures security not only for Ukraine but for all of Europe. He emphasized that any reduction of the Ukrainian army could lead to violations and dangers. Macron also pointed out that Russia is not fulfilling its promises regarding peace and non-aggression, and that without Ukraine's participation, it is impossible to hold territorial negotiations. The President called for the creation of a strong and free Europe that takes responsibility for its own future choices.

France is ready to take an active role in providing security guarantees for Ukraine. It is also important to note that President Macron will join Ukrainian leader Zelensky in negotiations with US President Trump.
