Russia May Use Protests Against NABU and SAP — What GUR Says
Russian special services and Kremlin propagandists are closely studying the situation inside Ukraine related to the adoption of law №12414. The enemy wants to use protests against NABU and SAP to undermine our state's ability to withstand full-scale armed Russian aggression.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR) on July 23.

How Russia Wants to Use Protests Against NABU and SAP

'The aggressor state Russia, in particular its special services and Kremlin propagandists, is thoroughly and deeply studying the situation inside Ukraine to use related protests concerning the adoption of Law №12414 to undermine our state's ability to withstand full-scale armed Russian aggression,' the report says.

According to GUR estimates, Russia intends to discredit Ukraine around the world in order to weaken or destroy Western support for armed resistance against the aggressor.

Intelligence warns that inside Ukraine, Russia is considering opportunities to exploit public discontent to exacerbate the situation as much as possible, using existing influence resources, including informational ones. It is noted that during the protests, provocative actions organized in Moscow may not be ruled out to divide Ukrainian society.

'GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reminds that the Ukrainian nation is in conditions of a genocidal war, in which the aggressor is trying by all means to destroy our state, and calls for restraint in assessments and actions', the special service emphasized.

It should be noted that in the Servant of the People party, they acknowledged that they understand the public outrage over the NABU and SAP law. The faction assured that they are ready to join a common action plan to resolve the situation.

We also wrote that EU countries reacted to the signing in Ukraine of law №12414, which limits the activities of the National Anti-corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-corruption Prosecutor's Office.

The message from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense's intelligence that Russia may use protests against NABU and SAP to undermine Ukraine's ability to withstand aggression highlights the complexity of the current political situation in the country and the threat from Russia even in the field of fighting corruption.
