The Russians have attacked Ukraine with 559 missiles and drones: Results of air defense.

According to ТСН: Today, the RF army conducted a combined strike against critical infrastructure facilities in Ukraine using combat drones and various types of missiles - air, sea, and ground-based. A total of 559 aerial targets were detected, of which air defense destroyed 503. The main attack direction is the Kyiv region.

According to information from the Air Forces Command of the UAF, 40 missiles and 519 drones of various types were detected and destroyed:

• 519 combat drones of the Shahed type (300 pieces) and “Gerbera” from the direction of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Achttarsk, and Gardeyskoye in Crimea;

• Ten ballistic/aeroballistic missiles Iskander-M/X-47M2 “Kinzhal” from the regions of Ryazan and Bryansk;

• Seven cruise missiles Iskander-K/Kalibr: from the Rostov region and the Black Sea;

• 21 cruise missiles X-101 from the airspace of the Vologda region;

• Two cruise missiles X-22 from the Black Sea.

According to preliminary data, by 1:00 PM, air defense destroyed 503 aerial targets:

• 474 drones;

• 6 ballistic/aeroballistic missiles Iskander-M/X-47M2 “Kinzhal”;

• 4 cruise missiles Iskander-K/Kalibr;

• 19 cruise missiles X-101.

The military registered 10 missile hits and 25 combat drones at 30 sites. Debris fell at 16 of these sites, one missile did not reach its target, and information about 15 lost drones is being clarified.

We remind you that the army conducted a massive attack on Kyiv at night and in the morning. The bombings caused fires in multi-storey buildings and private houses, a university dormitory was damaged. Cars were damaged due to falling debris.

In Kyiv, one person died. The number of injured rose to 28 people, of whom 13 were hospitalized. Another victim was registered in Bila Tserkva, in the Kyiv region.

President Volodymyr Zelensky responded to the heavy attack and noted that ordinary residential buildings and energy infrastructures were damaged due to the Russian bombings. He emphasized that representatives of the RF “hold long talks but respond in reality with 'Kinzhal' and 'Shahids'.

This attack has shown how serious the situation at the front remains and has underscored the importance of the air defense system's functioning. In the context of the ongoing war, the responses of the Ukrainian armed forces and their ability to repel attacks will be crucial for the safety of the civilian population.
