Fish prices in Ukraine rose in June
According to the Minfin portal, the cost of fish in Ukraine increased in June. Fish remains a popular product in the diet of Ukrainians, rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and vitamins. During the Peter's fast, the demand for fish rises, which affects prices in retail chains.

Carp has increased in price: live carp costs an average of 192 hryvnias per kilogram, while processed carp costs 259 hryvnias. Herring has also gone up in price from 199 to 207 hryvnias per kilogram. Meanwhile, mackerel remains stable, having decreased in price from 197 to 184 hryvnias per kilogram.
Thus, the situation in the fish market in June indicates an overall increase in prices for freshwater and sea fish in Ukraine. For many consumers, it is important to carefully monitor price trends to save on the purchase of quality products.
