Ukraine is a country with impressive reserves and deposits of rare earth minerals, and this is particularly noticeable in the Zaporizhia region. The Novopoltavske deposit, located in this area, boasts significant reserves of lanthanides, uranium, and other rare metals that aid in the industrial development of the state. It is worth noting that among the eight major deposits in Zaporizhia, five are located in temporarily occupied territories, including Novopoltavske.Zaporizhia also hosts the 'Kruta Balka' ore occurrence, where ores contain the valuable metal lithium, which is widely used in high-tech industries. In addition, this region has deposits of gold, graphite, kaolin, and other valuable minerals, which are of great importance for the industry. It is also worth mentioning the Velykotokmatske manganese deposit, which is one of the largest in the world, although its development has been suspended due to technological difficulties.Overall, the Zaporizhia region has an impressive potential in the mining sector, and the development of these deposits could bring significant gains for the country's economy. Attention should be paid to this region when planning the strategy for the further development of the industry.
