Russia intensified assaults under the cover of a massive strike - Zelensky.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that during the defense against missiles and drones, Ukrainian Armed Forces encountered intense ground attacks from Russian invaders. Over the last day, April 24, approximately 150 attacks and more than 4500 shellings were recorded. The most difficult situation developed in the Pokrovsk direction. The President noted the courage and resilience of Ukrainian soldiers who inflicted significant losses on the enemy.

Zelensky also stated that investigations are underway, and assessments of impact sites and expert analyses are being conducted to gather complete information about the weapon used and its origin.

It is worth recalling that on the night of April 24, Russia launched massive attacks on Kyiv, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of people, including children. Significant destruction was caused throughout the capital.

The President also mentioned that Russian invaders used a ballistic missile manufactured in North Korea for the attack on Kyiv. He noted that this indicates the criminal cooperation between Russia and Pyongyang, which are employing deadly weapons during the war. US President Donald Trump also expressed his dissatisfaction with the Russian strikes on Kyiv and stated that there is no need to shell the capital.
