Strike Targets Rivne Region
According to Novyny.live: On February 7, Russian occupying forces launched an attack on the Rivne region, resulting in the death of one man and leaving two others wounded. This incident occurred in western Ukraine, an area that has faced repeated strikes far from the front lines. Local residents and authorities expressed profound sorrow. Oleksandr Koval offered his condolences, stating:
“Unfortunately, a man died as a result of the morning attack on the Rivne region. My condolences to his family and loved ones.” - Oleksandr Koval
The assault caused significant material damage. In one apartment building, the following was damaged:
- 1,200 square meters of roofing
- 4 doors
- 32 windows
Six residents of this building were temporarily evacuated due to the danger created by the attack. Furthermore, in a neighboring building, three dozen windows require replacement, further illustrating the severity of the situation.

This event underscores the ongoing threat the war poses to civilians and national infrastructure. Local authorities continue to work on eliminating the consequences of the attack and providing aid to the victims.
