Russian Strikes Hit Three Ukrainian Regions, Killing Civilians and Damaging Infrastructure.
Attacks Across Ukrainian Regions
According to UATV: On February 4, Russian military forces launched attacks against the Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Odesa regions of Ukraine. These strikes resulted in civilian deaths and caused significant damage to both civilian and industrial infrastructure. In Odesa, the assault killed three people and wounded eleven others. Damage was recorded in two city districts, where strikes impacted a two-story residential building, vehicles, a school, and a kindergarten.
Regional Impact and Casualties
In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Russian troops carried out 790 strikes against 32 settlements over a 24-hour period. While there are currently no reports of civilian fatalities in this region, the bombardment was extensive. In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, however, two civilians were killed and two more were wounded. The shelling there triggered fires and damaged three private homes, one of which was completely destroyed.
These events underscore the ongoing aggression by Russian forces against Ukraine and the severe consequences for the civilian population and critical infrastructure. The conflict, now in its second year, has created a profound humanitarian crisis within the country, intensifying the need for aid and reconstruction. The international community continues to monitor the situation closely, responding to Ukraine's urgent security and recovery needs.
