Russia is preparing winter assaults in the south: key directions of attacks and the threat to logistics.
According to ТСН: Active attacks by Russian troops continue on the southern front as they prepare for winter battles. The most intense offensive operations are recorded in the Huliaipole and Oleksandrivka directions.
Russian forces are attempting to advance into populated areas along the logistics corridor Pokrovsk - Huliaipole. Capturing this route could complicate the supply of Ukrainian military units.
The enemy forces continue offensive actions directly in Huliaipole, trying to strengthen their positions in the city.
Active battles are also ongoing near the settlements of Dobropillia, Pryluky, and Varvarivka.
“The enemy spares no resources, bringing in reserves to capture these settlements and cut off the logistics route,” emphasized Voloshin.
According to information, Russian troops continue to carry out airstrikes on Huliaipole, using aerial bombs. There is also an increase in attacks by kamikaze drones and Shahed-type UAVs in populated areas near the contact line.
Zaporizhia, Kherson, and Odesa have also come under fire.
The Russian Federation is preparing for winter battles
Voloshin noted that the Russian command plans to intensify assault actions with the onset of cold weather. According to intelligence, several enemy assault units have already received white camouflage coats for winter conditions.
“In this way, the enemy is preparing to conduct assaults in these directions when there is snow,” said the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces.
It is worth adding that in the Pokrovsk direction, Russian occupiers continue their attack with small infantry assault groups, which are gradually being eliminated by the Defense Forces. This indicates that the enemy has significant reserves of manpower.
The situation on the southern front remains tense, and Russian troops continue to seek opportunities to advance deeper into the territory. With the approach of winter, the importance of logistics and resources becomes critical, which may significantly impact the operational plans of both sides.
