According to FREEДOM: The Russian Federation has declared its readiness for peace negotiations, but the intense hostilities of Russian troops at the front in Ukraine indicate quite the contrary. The enemy continues attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses on several fronts, conducting assault operations daily. This was reported by Ukrainian Armed Forces officer Serhiy Tsekhotsky on the air of the FREEДOM television channel.

'There are no signs on the battlefield that the Russian Federation, the Kremlin, and dictator Putin are ready to end the war and move to a new level of negotiation process. The Russians continue to conduct numerous infantry, small, isolated, and other assaults. While we are trying to negotiate, traveling to meetings with the President of the United States, the Russian Federation continues attacks in attempts to capture a piece of land, its troops are trying to advance in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions,' he said.

Tsekhotsky noted that Ukraine has intensified strikes on military facilities deep within Russia, as the aggressor country understands nothing but force and pressure.

'The capabilities we have to operate deep in the Russian rear to destroy their pipelines and other facilities have significantly increased. I am talking absolutely about all professions, not just drone operators. This includes pilots, artillerymen, and tank crews. They have significantly improved their craft. They are inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. Putin fears the citizens of his own country. He is afraid when people rejoice; he needs to bring sorrow, to kill, to destroy, to ruin, and so on,' said the speaker.

In his opinion, the Russian dictator is aware of the real situation at the front and the military failures of the Russian Federation.

'He knows everything, but, of course, does not show it. There is a strict prohibition on conveying the truth to the citizens of the Russian Federation. However, considering the 21st century, the century of technology, information still goes out and reaches people. Plus, many Russians who have escaped have been with us, they also tell the truth. The graves that are growing like mushrooms in cities, districts, and villages also say something. However, citizens of the Russian Federation do not protest against the war. We are doing everything possible to achieve peace in Ukraine and to stop the bloodshed,' emphasized the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer.

As reported, in the last 24 hours, there have been 159 combat clashes at the front. The Russian army tried to break through Ukrainian defenses in the Lyman and Sever regions in the Donetsk region. The enemy used aviation, artillery, drones, and guided bombs.

The message of Russia's readiness for peace negotiations contradicts the actions of its military at the front in Ukraine, where active hostilities and frequent attempts to break through continue. Ukrainian troops note an increase in strikes on military facilities deep within Russia, trying to contain the aggressive activities of the neighboring state.
