Consequences of Russian Shelling in Sumy Region Over 24 Hours
According to Novyny.live: Russian military forces targeted 35 settlements in Ukraine's Sumy region, injuring three people in the Mykolaiv community. The wounded include a 58-year-old woman, a 61-year-old man, and a 24-year-old man. The attacks caused significant destruction, with a private house and property destroyed at the impact site. In the Sumy city community, two apartment buildings and a car dealership premises were also damaged.
Residential buildings in the Seredyno-Buda and Vorozhba communities were damaged as a result of the attacks. Police are documenting the consequences of the shelling and have opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. These events follow the death of a man in Sumy region on March 4 due to shelling. The Sumy region borders Russia and has been subjected to frequent cross-border attacks since the full-scale invasion began in 2022.
