On the night of September 28, the Belgorod and Kursk regions of Russia were attacked by drones. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, air defense systems managed to destroy all unmanned aerial vehicles.
«Five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems. Four UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region and one – over the territory of the Kursk region», – the Defense Ministry stated.
It is also worth noting that Russia is strengthening its defensive positions on the Crimean bridge by placing many air defense systems there. Andriy Ryzhenko, former deputy chief of staff of the Ukrainian Navy, noted in an interview with FREEDOM that this indicates Russia's fear of possible attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces with Ukrainian missiles.
