Russia advances in the Pokrovsk direction: what tactics the enemy uses.
The movement of the Russian army in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka front
According to inkorr.com: Over the last day, the Russian army continued its offensive in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka directions, according to information from 'Glavkom' and analysts from DeepState.
It is reported that the occupiers have shown activity near the village of Novoivanivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as in the areas of Kalynivka in Dnipropetrovsk and the settlement of Udachne in Donetsk.
Tactics of the Russian troops
Artem Pribilnov, head of the communications department of the 155th Separate Marine Brigade, noted in a conversation with 'Kyiv24' that Russian soldiers acting on the front do not always use body armor and helmets.
He clarified that drones play a major role on the battlefield, and protective gear is not always effective, so the enemy prioritizes mobility and speed in movement.
In particular, cases were recorded in the Pokrovsk direction where Russian soldiers checked the bodies of their fallen comrades and took body armor and helmets from them.
The situation in the Zaporizhzhia direction
The Zaporizhzhia direction remains key for the Russian army. The occupiers aim to continue the offensive towards Stepnogirsk, using all available resources to achieve this goal.
General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, also reported that Russian troops are redirecting their units from the Sumy direction to Zaporizhzhia. The enemy hopes to break through the Ukrainian defense in this region and continue the offensive into Ukrainian territory, aiming to capture the entire region, including Zaporizhzhia.
The report details important movements and achievements of Russian troops in Donbas, as well as strategies and tactics used in combat operations. Information about the use of drones and the disregard for protective gear indicates ongoing changes and adaptations by both sides in the struggle.
