Mobilization Problems in Russia: GUR Reveals Reasons for Failure.
According to inkorr.com: Russia is experiencing difficulties in recruiting new military personnel for the occupation forces, as reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.
Selection Issues
According to intelligence, difficulties in recruiting contractors are mainly observed in the poorest regions of the aggressor country, particularly in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
'According to internal documents of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, low selection rates are caused by insufficient regional payments and the reluctance of local authorities to assist in the recruitment campaign,' GUR reported.
Reasons for Failure
The average deficit in recruiting points in this region is about 40% of the standards set by Moscow. According to intelligence, significant losses among local residents, including representatives of certain ethnic groups, such as Yakuts, Evenks, and Even, are one of the reasons for refusal to serve, as they do not wish to risk their lives for the interests of Moscow.
'A similar trend is observed in other Far Eastern regions of Russia,' intelligence noted.
Thus, serious problems arise in Russian regions regarding the replenishment of occupation forces, related to low contractor selection rates, significant losses among the local population, and insufficient regional payments. This situation may affect Russia's subsequent operations and reduce the effectiveness of their military efforts in regions where public support is critically important. Future government steps may involve new strategies or incentives to attract local residents to serve.
