Russian troops are forming a 'buffer zone' near Kharkiv
According to inkorr.com: Oleg Sushynskyi, spokesman for the military group 'North', reported that Russian troops are actively operating in the South-Slobozhansky direction, seeking to create a 'buffer zone' in the border areas of Kharkiv region. The main goal of their actions is to capture the city of Vovchansk.
The enemy is trying to attack Vovchansk almost daily; it remains one of their main objectives. At the same time, Ukrainian defenders are successfully holding a strategically important area on the northern bank of the Vovcha River, particularly in the territory of the Aggregate Plant.
Thus, Russian troops are focusing their efforts on creating a 'buffer zone' in the Kharkiv area, with a particular emphasis on capturing Vovchansk. Meanwhile, Ukrainian defenders are successfully controlling this strategically important territory, hindering the enemy's attacks.
These events indicate a continuing escalation of the situation in Kharkiv region, where the struggle for control over key settlements continues. The current military activities highlight the importance of adapting Ukrainian military defense strategies and the need for support from allies in the region.
