Ukrainian Armed Forces Deal Massive Strikes on Russia's Oil and Gas: Plants, Terminals, and Reserves are Burning.
According to ТСН: The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to actively destroy the military and economic potential of the aggressor. This time, key facilities in Russia's oil industry, which play an important role in exports and supplies for the occupation forces, came under attack.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Tuapse: Strike at the Heart of the Plant
In the Krasnodar Krai of Russia, drones attacked the Tuapse Oil Refinery, one of the largest in the country.
As a result of the hit, a fire broke out at the facility.
-
What was damaged: The primary oil processing unit (YELOU-AVT-12) and complex deep processing units.
-
Why is this important: The plant processes 12 million tons of oil per year, producing fuel for the Russian army and raw materials for export.
Taman: Damage to the Berths
Also in the Krasnodar Krai, the oil and gas terminal 'Tamanneftegaz' near the village of Volna was attacked. This is an important transshipment point for oil and liquefied gas exports.
The military confirmed damage to two berths equipped with special equipment for loading tankers.
Yaroslavl Region: Rosreserve was on Fire
The geography of the attacks reached deep into the rear. In the city of Rybinsk (Yaroslavl region), a federal facility 'Temp' - the oil depot of the state reserve of Russia was attacked.
This facility holds strategic fuel reserves, where a large fire was recorded.
Crimea and Donbas
In addition to oil facilities, the Defense Forces also struck direct military targets:
-
Crimea (Olenivka): A temporary base for Russian river boats was hit.
-
Donetsk Region: Ammunition depots have been destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Blizhne and Siyatel.
It should be recalled that recently, the Defense Forces of Ukraine attacked the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Krai and the oil depot in Uryupinsk, Volgograd region. These strikes aim to reduce the offensive potential of the Russian occupiers.
The effectiveness of these attacks underscores Ukraine's ongoing efforts to weaken Russia's military capabilities. Active work on striking key facilities allows Ukraine to maintain strategic initiative and support its defense capability in a challenging situation at the front.
