According to UATV: On June 18, 2023, Russian forces launched attacks on the city of Dnipro and the Kyiv region, while also shelling settlements in Donetsk Oblast. The assaults resulted in the death of one man and injuries to nine others, eight of whom are hospitalized in moderate condition.

Over the course of the day, Russian troops carried out more than 30 shelling incidents against communities in Donetsk Oblast, using drones and ballistic missiles. An airstrike on Sloviansk damaged 21 private homes, shops, and eight vehicles. Fires broke out in one residential property, an outbuilding, and a car.
