Russia deliberately attacked the American Bunge factory in Ukraine: what it means.

According to ТСН: A targeted strike by Russia damaged a civilian enterprise that produces sunflower oil in Dnipro. This enterprise belongs to the well-known American company Bunge. The attack was intentional, as Russian military forces tried to hit this facility several times.

Russia continues to systematically attack American businesses in Ukraine. Last year, Russian strikes damaged Boeing offices in Kyiv, as well as significant electronics manufacturing enterprises in Transcarpathia and other facilities.

Throughout the full-scale war, about half of the companies that are members of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine have suffered damage or destruction of their facilities of varying scale.

Russia's refusal to respond to Ukraine's constructive steps towards peace must come at a cost, and the Kremlin must realize that this cost is serious.

During the enemy attack, 300 tons of oil spilled onto the streets of Dnipro, causing complete traffic disruption on the city's waterfront. The strike was aimed at the plant owned by the "Bunge" company from St. Louis, Missouri.

This event is yet another confirmation of the threatening situation that businesses in Ukraine face due to military actions. In light of these attacks, Ukraine needs not only to strengthen its defense but also to seek new ways to protect its economic interests from aggression. The international community must actively support such efforts.
