Russian trolls are attacking TikTok ahead of the elections in the Czech Republic: the scheme revealed.
According to inkorr.com: Before the elections in the Czech Republic, Russian trolls have intensified their activities, spreading disinformation. About 300 accounts have been identified that promote pro-Russian propaganda on TikTok, interacting with each other through comments and retweets. This allows them to expand their audience with the help of bots. These accounts are believed to be part of the Russian 'troll factory'.
'Russia continues to actively use troll factories and other information influence systems to promote pro-Russian and Eurosceptic political forces in Eastern European countries in order to influence election results,' emphasized the Center for Countering Disinformation.
Russia's actions in the Czech Republic pose a threat to societal stability and are part of the overall Kremlin plan aimed at destabilizing the region and spreading its destructive influence in Eastern Europe.
Identifying and neutralizing such disinformation can help prevent attempts to interfere in the internal affairs and democratic processes of the country.
This situation underscores the importance of information security, as external influences can significantly affect the outcome of democratic elections and the internal political situation. The Czech Republic, like many other countries in the region, must be prepared for such challenges in order to maintain its stability and independence.
