Attack of the Russian army on Ukraine

On the night of August 21, the Russian army carried out missile and drone strikes on several cities in Ukraine, reports FREEДOM.

In the Transcarpathian region, a major fire occurred at one of the enterprises, and an unmanned aerial vehicle fell in the village of Lypovets in the Khust district.

'12 people were injured with varying degrees of severity, all are receiving necessary assistance,' said the head of the Transcarpathian Regional Military Administration, Myroslav Biletsky.

In Zaporizhzhia, several industrial infrastructure facilities as well as residential buildings were damaged due to strikes. Utility services are already working at the attack sites. Initially, no victims were reported. The enemy also dropped bombs on one of the villages in the Polohy district.

'An 85-year-old woman was injured. She has fractures, lacerations, and a concussion. All relevant services are working at the scene,' reported the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.

The Russian occupiers also attacked the Dnipropetrovsk region. Air defense forces shot down 18 drones and two missiles. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Mykola Lukashuk.

'As a result of the attack in the Yuriev community of the Pavlohrad district, several fires occurred. A 48-year-old man was injured. Infrastructure was damaged. In the Tsarichanka community of the Dnipro district, private houses and a power line were damaged as a result of the attack,' he noted.

The aggressor shelled the Nikopol community with artillery — houses were destroyed, and gas pipelines and power grids were damaged. In the Synelnykove district, drones struck enterprises and a gas pipeline, reported the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.
