According to Novyny.live: Russian forces launched a drone assault on the city of Zaporizhzhia during the night of February 23-24, 2023, resulting in civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure. The attack wounded three individuals, including a child. The blast wave and debris from the strikes also damaged a multi-story residential building and a key infrastructure facility.

Reports indicate that more than six strikes targeted Zaporizhzhia. In a separate incident the previous night, one person was killed and another injured. This latest assault follows a pattern of aggression, with attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region also reported from the night of February 21-22. The city is a frequent target due to its strategic location in southern Ukraine.

He further stated, “The enemy launched over 6 strikes on Zaporizhzhia. One of them hit city infrastructure, causing a fire. The enemy attack on the region continues.
