Russians launched a drone attack in Zaporizhzhia
On the evening of February 27, the Russians carried out an attack on Zaporizhzhia using strike drones. This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov. As a result of the attack, residential apartments, private houses, and garages were damaged. There were also cases of apartments on the upper floors of the multi-storey building catching fire.
According to Fedorov, an 82-year-old woman required medical assistance; the pensioner was injured by an enemy drone attack.
Emergency services immediately arrived at the scene to assist the victims.
It is worth noting that on the night of February 27, a fire broke out at an industrial facility in one of the districts of Kyiv region due to falling debris from a drone. 81 rescuers and 24 pieces of equipment were working at the scene. The incident did not result in any casualties or injuries.
It was previously reported that an enemy attack on the night of February 26 led to fires, destruction, and fatalities in Kyiv region. In particular, in Kryukivshchyna, debris from a drone caused a fire in the house of the head of the Department of Surgery No. 3 of the O.O. Bogomolets National Medical University, Professor Pavlo Ivanovych, and journalist Tetiana Kulyk.
