Russians are preparing children for war in the TOT: how the militarization of minors is taking place.
In the occupied territory of Luhansk region, the Russians continue to militarize Ukrainian children, preparing them for future service in the armed formations of Russia. In particular, in Stanytsia Luhanska, representatives of the National Guard together with activists of Putin's party 'United Russia' organized a special 'training' for the pupils of the local football club 'Ataman', which was actually an element of military training.
This was reported by the press service of the Center for National Resistance.
Children were taught according to the security forces' program
Under the guise of celebrating Physical Education Day, schoolchildren were engaged in intensive exercises for endurance and strength, practicing hand-to-hand combat techniques and elements of training typically used in special forces.
As witnesses note, the instructors did not hide the true purpose of the classes — they emphasized that these skills would be needed during selection for military structures.
Experts emphasize that such activities are part of a systematic strategy of the Kremlin aimed at forming a mobilization reserve among minor citizens of Ukraine. This grossly contradicts the norms of international humanitarian law and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, as involving children in military training in occupied territories is a violation of their fundamental rights and freedoms.
Conducting 'training' for children in the occupied Luhansk region is part of a broader Kremlin strategy for forming a mobilization reserve in the occupied territories. Involving children in military training violates international humanitarian law and children's rights, putting young ones in dangerous situations and ruining their innocent childhood.
