The Russians are trying to create a foothold for an offensive on Kostiantynivka.
The Russian troops continue to expand their positions for future attacks on Kostiantynivka in the Toretsk direction. Dmytro Zaporozeць, spokesperson for the Joint Forces Operation 'Luhansk', reported that the enemy is carrying out up to 16 assaults per week in this direction.
'According to the military, the enemy spares no resources to minimize losses when approaching Yablunivka and expanding their positions.'
The Russian military is using motor vehicles for quick movement to small settlements and has increased the use of tactical aviation. Despite the intense pressure, the Ukrainian military continues to hold the defense and does not allow the enemy to create a base for attacks on Kostiantynivka.
