According to UATV: On July 10, 2023, Russian troops struck 26 communities across Ukraine's Sumy region, leaving nine civilians injured. The assaults involved guided aerial bombs, artillery, mortars, and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), marking another wave of violence in the area.
Six local communities faced drone attacks. In the Bilopillia community, a UAV struck a vehicle, wounding one man. The injured residents came from the following communities:
- Sumy
- Berezivka
- Putyvl
- Shostka
- Popivka
These incidents underscore the escalating security situation and ongoing risks for residents in this northeastern border region.
