Russian Attack on Dnipro Injures Four, Including a One-Month-Old Boy.
Dnipro Struck by Russian Assault on February 12
According to Novyny.live: In a morning assault on February 12, Russian forces launched a massed strike against the city of Dnipro using missiles and drones. The attack, which occurred around 07:30, resulted in four civilians being wounded. Among the victims was a baby boy less than one month old, whose condition is currently assessed by doctors as moderate. This incident is part of a wider pattern of attacks on Ukrainian cities that has intensified since the full-scale invasion began nearly two years ago.
Widespread Damage from the Strike
The consequences of the bombardment were severe, with significant damage inflicted on civilian infrastructure, private homes, and vehicles. The attack also impacted other regions beyond Dnipro. In the Synelnykove district, infrastructure and a kindergarten were damaged, while the Nikopol district suffered strikes on its administrative center and the communities of Chervonohryhorivka and Pokrovsk. These attacks involved the use of artillery and FPV drones.
“The boy, who is not even a month old, has been hospitalized. Doctors assess his condition as moderate,” stated Oleksandr Ganzha.
This situation starkly highlights the devastating impact of military actions on civilians, with children being particularly vulnerable.
This bombardment is part of the ongoing conflict that continues to devastate the lives of peaceful residents across Ukraine. The increasing frequency of attacks on civilian infrastructure points to a dangerous escalation of violence in the region, demanding urgent measures to protect the population. The continuation of such assaults risks creating even deeper humanitarian crises, especially given the growing number of child and female casualties.
