Russians shelled Kostyantynivka: one person killed, six injured.
As a result of the shelling of Kostyantynivka, one person was killed and six injured, said the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadym Filashkin.
The city of Kostyantynivka once again became a target of artillery fire, and the result of the Russian forces' attack was damage to five high-rise buildings, a private house, a gas pipeline, a power line, and a car.
According to Filashkin, Kostyantynivka is one of the most affected cities in Donetsk region and daily becomes a target of enemy shelling.
According to The New York Times, the Russian leadership attaches less importance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces' operation in the Kursk region compared to the advancement of occupational forces in Donetsk region. Russia's main goal remains the capture of Pokrovsk in Donetsk region, which is an important logistical center.
In the Pokrovsk area, Russian forces continue to successfully develop tactics, occupying buildings in the high-rises of Novogrodivka.
