Ukraine continued the exchange of prisoners of war on Wednesday, July 24. Seriously ill and severely injured defenders returned home. One of them, Adam from Volyn, expressed his devotion to Ukraine during the exchange.

“We will reclaim our Ukraine and stand our ground. For the Motherland, for our children”
Adam refused to stay with the Russians, as he did not want to become a traitor and serve Russia. The man emphasized that he went to war not for money, but for his family and homeland.
The exchange was conducted as part of the ninth stage of agreements during negotiations in Istanbul. The Coordinating Staff showed a video of the defenders returning home.
As a result of another exchange of prisoners of war, seriously ill and severely injured defenders returned to Ukraine, ready to continue defending their native country from aggression.
