Woman Killed, Two Critically Injured in Russian Strike on Gas Station in Kherson Region.
Attack on a fuel station in southern Ukraine leaves one dead and several wounded
According to UATV: On June 5, Russian forces struck a gas station in the Chernobaivka community of Ukraine's Kherson region. A 35-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and seven other people sustained injuries. Among the wounded, two men aged 61 and 55 are in critical condition.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the strike hit a location where civilian vehicles and travelers frequently stop. This incident has sparked outrage among local residents and officials. The region has experienced repeated attacks on civilian infrastructure since the start of the full-scale invasion.
Oleksandr Prokudin stated that today's shelling proves once again that Russia's goal is solely terror against civilians and anyone trying to help them.
The security situation in the area remains dire, with such attacks endangering the lives of non-combatants. Authorities continue to respond to these acts of aggression, stressing the need to protect civilians.
How these attacks impact ordinary people
This strike is part of ongoing hostilities that threaten the safety of civilians across Ukraine. Officials are calling for international support to ensure the protection of non-combatants and condemning aggressive actions that harm innocent people.
Such incidents highlight the urgent need for enhanced security measures and humanitarian aid in affected regions.
