Russia doubled airstrike attacks in the Kupyansk direction: what is happening.

According to ТСН: Russian occupation forces have significantly intensified their offensive actions in the Kupyansk direction, focusing on the active use of aviation. In the last 24 hours, the number of strikes with guided aerial bombs (GABs) on the positions of Ukrainian defenders has almost doubled.

Spokesperson for the communication management of the Joint Forces Group Viktor Trehubov notes that the pressure from the enemy has become significantly higher. The invaders are trying to use their technical advantage in the air to exhaust our units and prepare the ground for infantry assaults. In addition to traditional combat methods, Russian military is again resorting to non-standard and risky attempts to penetrate behind Ukrainian forces.

Trehubov also spoke about another unsuccessful attempt by the enemy to use underground communications.

"There was another attempt to use the pipeline in the northern area of Kupyansk, but it was unsuccessful, because they did not calculate that what might have worked there four months ago, today will not work. And all this is simply because, first of all, the entire pipeline is visually recorded. And secondly, there are means of destruction. Therefore, as soon as they attempted to do this, they were immediately destroyed there. A direct strike was inflicted, destruction occurred at the moment of their exit,"

Situation at the front

It should also be noted that Russian occupation forces continue their attempts to approach the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia. The enemy has made several attempts to enter the village of Malokaterinivka (Kushuhum community), which is the southern suburb of the regional center.

Part of the city of Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region remains under the control of the Russian army. The Russians have an advantage in manpower and armament, but they have not captured the city. In Huliaipole the Defense Forces continue to hold the defense.

However, the enemy is trying to oust Ukrainian troops from the positions they occupy, despite significant losses.

As of this morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have eliminated 1,213,460 soldiers of the Russian Federation. Over the past day, another 940 military personnel were eliminated. The data is being clarified.

The situation at the front remains tense, as Russian troops are trying to find new ways to implement their plans. We can only hope for the reliability of the defense of Ukrainian units and their ability to resist the enemy, preventing the conduct of offensives.
