Russians are storming Pokrovsk: how artillery reconnaissance disrupts the occupiers' plans.
According to ТСН: The occupiers continue active assault actions in the Pokrovsk direction, trying to advance towards the city.
Situation at the front
This was reported in a telethon by the head of the artillery reconnaissance division of the NGU artillery brigade, Ihor Yaremenko. He noted:
“The enemy is using the tactic of infiltration one by one, hoping to remain unnoticed. However, the defense forces are detecting such attempts and delivering fire damage to prevent Russian units from penetrating Pokrovsk and to reduce the burden on the military who are holding the defense directly in the city.”
According to him, due to the high intensity of assaults, artillery units are also striking at the enemy's manpower and armored vehicles.
Defense of Pokrovsk
The prolonged defense of Pokrovsk allowed Ukrainian defenders to buy time and prepare new defensive lines. The defense forces managed to push the enemy out of Dobropillia, where the occupiers had previously attempted to simulate a breakthrough of the defense lines.
Situation in Myrnohrad
Currently, combat actions are taking place in the northern part of Pokrovsk. The logistics situation in the neighboring Myrnohrad remains critical, as the city has effectively found itself in a “gray zone.”
Although Ukrainian forces are doing everything possible to maintain positions, the enemy's attempts continue to pose a threat in the region. Further developments on the Pokrovsk direction will require constant assessment and adaptation of strategies by Ukrainian military to ensure the safety of the city and its surroundings.
